When you come to Billion Honda, serving the greater Iowa City area, you'll find a large number of new Honda models for sale. While Honda's are known for being stylish, solid build quality, and envious fuel economy at our dealership, the Japanese automaker has established an entirely different reputation in the racing world.
The level of prestige that Honda carries on the track is defined by extreme speeds, hairpin turns, and, of course, intense victories. But let's not forget about the victory laps that follow. Yes, Honda knows how to put on a good show, and they've managed to attract some serious sponsors along the way.
While all of this is impressive, we know there's even more in store for Honda. In fact, Honda has done so well under the sponsorship of Yuasa Batter Sales that the U.K.-based company now wants to further extend their sponsorship to the next level. And what level would that be? Well, instead of merely being a sponsor, they're now a partner.
Now known as Honda Yuasa Racing, the team recently unveiled a new race car that's based off of the Honda Civic. The vehicle was built at the Honda Swindon plant in the U.K., and veteran racing team members Matt Neal and Gordon "Flash" Shedden were on hand to officially unveil the daring speed machine from the Big H. Others in attendance included Yuasa Managing Director, Andrew Taylor and Honda U.K. Managing Director, Dave Hodgetts.
Of course, we at Billion Honda can't wait to see the new Honda Yuasa Racing hit the track. And if you can't either, then feel free to follow the action online at http://www.honda.co.uk/BTCC or follow the team's updates on Facebook.
Want more Honda news? Stay tuned. There's more to come, and everyone here at 2641 Mormon Trek Blvd in Iowa City, IA is dedicated to keeping you up to date.
