Japanese automaker Honda is the third-largest auto manufacturer in the world and the largest motorcycle manufacturer. They know two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles like the back of their own hands. However, when we say Honda plans to take flight next year, we're not referring to robust automobile or motorcycle sales. Rather, we mean they're aiming to capture roughly a quarter of the world's small business jet market share. That's right; Honda is planning to take off in the most literal sense possible.

What do you hope to do before your next "leap" in life? That's the question that Honda is asking its fans in connection with the Honda CR-V Leap Year Contest. That's right, 2012 is a leap year, and Honda is ready to celebrate this oddity by asking participants to make "leap lists" of actions they would like to complete- and then challenges them to do so.

It's here; it has a flashy website promo, and it's one of America's favorite vehicles of all time. It's the infamous Honda Civic- coupe style. Slightly more trendy than its family-friendly sedan sister, this Honda model comes equipped with amazing technology features (along with its sleek exterior), some of which include: a customizable i-MID system, standard Bluetooth Hands-Free Link, Ace body structure, VSA, available FM traffic, and the EcoAssist and the Econ button (both to aid in tracking and improving fuel economy).

Recent massive flooding in Thailand caused some major damage, but it will not delay the release of new Honda vehicles. In late October, we received news at Billion Honda that the new Honda CR-V could be delayed by several weeks, but Honda has since announced that production has improved and the vehicle will now be appearing on time in the summer of 2012. The newly redesigned  Honda CR-V  will have a lighter and more efficient engine, unique styling, and a more spacious interior.

North American Honda vehicles distributed to Billion Honda are actually produced in the Southern US. The automaker's Alabama plant just got the word that it will expand, bringing new Honda cars to Iowa City and beyond!

While many businesses are unfortunately going under, and the economy remains in an unsteady rut, Honda has made it a goal to continue moving forward, and grow.  To show how serious they are, the Japanese automaker recently disclosed that they invested  $400 million in operations through its Ohio based plants and facilities. Honda is looking forward and feels this will help prepare them for when the economy gains some steam.
